Push Up Bra For Men

I've seen a lot of advertisements for lingerie. Some tasteful, some shameless, some funny, some stupid. But I must say, this is the first time I've ever seen one that had a man modeling the bra. Model Andrej Pejic (seen to the right) wearing women's clothing isn't exactly news on it's own (he's even walked the catwalk in women's clothing), but this is the first time I've ever seen a mainstream ad feature a man wearing women's clothing, although the ad is for the Netherlands, which is known for being extremely liberal. And if a guy looks that good wearing that bra...well it might just be worth the money.

Crossdressing in Cinema

Crossdressing is one of the oldest subjects in popular culture. From Marlene Detrich in the 1930 film Morocco to Albert Nobbs (due out later this year), from the inhumanly awful Ed Wood (of Plan 9 From Outer Space fame) film, Glen or Glenda to the Oscar winning The Crying Game crossdressing is one of the most commonly explored themes in film. For those of you interested in Crossdressing (which would be why you’re here) and film, The Guardian has an interesting article on the history of Crossdressing and cinema.

Daniel Craig’s appearance in heels, blonde wig and patterned dress for a video raising awareness of gender inequality for International Women’s Day marks 007′s drag debut. But cross-dressing is not, strictly speaking, new to the Bond franchise – remember the Spectre agent who attends his own faked funeral as his “widow” at the beginning of Thunderball? – and far from a novelty on the big screen.

Crossdressing Truth

Crossdressing is becoming an extremely popular and common pastime. Despite that, there are still many myths or even fears about it that pervade the popular psyche. Self-Help Magazine has an interesting article where it addresses and attempts to dispel these fears.

Every Fall, several hundred traditional husbands, fathers and businessmen come together in Provincetown for Fantasia Fair with parties, seminars and workshops exploring the thorny issue of how to buy the right wig and hide a 5 o'clock shadow with the foundation and blush-on. Heterosexual married men from suburbia with families who cross dress? What's going on? Apparently a much more common practice than most people would imagine. It's estimated that at least 1% of the male population cross dresses.
