Sunday was the Miss Paradise pageant. The event took place at Paradise in Asbury Park NJ. The evening was hosted by Lady Marisa who's on your left. The judges that graced the evening ranged from Suede, the New York fashion designer. Jon Kutlu who is on the Style Networks Jerseylicious. Dan Pearce, Victoria Lace, Bill Fridel, Michael Cook, Jiggly Caliente and Alexis Mateo. Who all voted for Verona Veloure Sky Miss Paradise 2012!

Grammy Wrap Up.

Last nights Grammy Awards were really entertaining. One Adele won everything, two she sang in the fashion that only she could do. But the night wasn't only about Adele, there were tributes and call outs to the late great Whitney Houston and Etta James. Ellen Addresses OMM

Just want to take a moment and say that I'm really proud of Ellen DeGeneres, what a class act. She was faced with some really hateful words and a message about her being the spokesperson for JC Penny. You know what she did. She kept her calm and addressed the One Million Moms on her show.  Their claim was that Ellen did not represent traditional values. Here's what the TV host had to say to that. 

Here are the values that I stand for: I stand for honesty, equality, kindness, compassion, treating people the way you wanna be treated, and helping those in need. To me, those are traditional values. That’s what I stand for.

Hats Off to Adele

A few days ago Karl Lagerfeld made a comment saying that the singer Adele was "too fat". Now Adele has stated that

"I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that" 

Impressive that Adele didn't turn about and sink to Karl's level.

Art Deco: The Return?

Well it seems like the Art Deco style is coming back in the world of Fashion. And article posted by Fashionising tells more on the returning style.

It was a time in fashion when inanimate objects started influencing textile workers. Today, designers thrive through that system of getting their inspiration from arts and architecture. Call it a movement of frivolity and hopefulness or a step forward from the Jazz-age of the 1920s; Art Deco has reappeared on the 2012 fashion map.
